Morning Tapestry

The early morning sun reveals life around the frozen stream bed. The doe  and cotton tailed rabbits seek a drink, the covey of quail scury to their brush cover, while house sparrows are still waiting to warm up a bit before joining the gold finches and northern flicker in their pursuit of breakfast. This creek scene is in basically my front yard. All the animals pictured live in my "neighborhood".
