Got Carrots?

A fun portrait of my now 29 year old horse when he was a youngster. Carrots were the motivational force in his life. His reason for being. He had an exceptionally long neck and he would stretch it out like a giraffe searching for the whiff of carrot essense on anyone as they passed by!  As a young horse he lost his beautiful brown eye on his left side, the one dominant in this image. He adjusted and went on to serve me as a wonderful dressage partner, competing in open shows, trail riding, working cattle and just about anything I wanted to do (even did medieval games!). Arthritis in his back knees though took him to the easy life where he just enjoys the sunshine and company of his herd mates, his buddy the llama and goats. To the purebred Arabian What in Blazes, son of Arizona Sands, thanks for all the years we have enjoyed so far.
