June 15, 2019 a powerful line of summer thunderstorms could be seen at the eastern horizon at dusk. Their power and beauty struck me as they glowed in the evening colors.  I took many photos of this storm. I knew that some 100 miles away they were being hammered with significant storms underneath.

Fast forward to the fall months. At an art show opening another artist mentioned his painting in that show was of the same storm he recalled seeing my photos posted of on social media, back in June.  We pulled my photos up on my phone and he confirmed that June 15th storm date. While we looked at the images other artist joined in our conversation and looked to see if they took photos of those clouds on that evening. Many did. The idea blossomed to do a storm cloud show, based primarily on this date, as seen by different people in different locations. This is one of 2 of my images for that Summer 2020 show that will be hosted by Southwind Art Gallery.
