Borrowed Time

Why "Borrowed Time"? I decided that our paint out needed to happen on this neighbor's Wabaunsee County property looking at the western hills that are covered with virgin tall grass prairie because they are on borrowed time.....the owners are working on getting approval to begin rock quarrying these lovely hills which will destroy the native grasses, saying nothing of the wildlife and environmental impact that can never, my lifetime, be recovered. Sad that the rocks which protected these hills for centuries is now their demise.
