The Amazing Gracie

This is a portrait of "Gracie", or as the owner's wife called her "Amazing Gracie". I was commissioned to do this portrait of their long lost, but much loved dog. I am honored to say, the second "family portrait" I have done for this person.

I had several images to work from in constructing this piece. I really liked the rocks in one photo and choose those as the framework for them to remember her during her adventurous, active years.

Mixed media with graphite and colored pencil and watercolor.
