Shaggy (American Bison)

The American Bison is a symbol of the wilds of the once vast prairie landscape in this country's midwest. Now religated to live in designated areas, much like the native peoples which once depended on this great beast in their daily lives. Becoming more popular to raise in "domesticated" ranches, one can have an opportunity to see their magnification animals up close. Even have them eat out of your hand,  whilst you are contained safely up in a wagon mind you! This shaggy bull was one such animal that I photographed at close range as he paused from a good roll in the dust to see what "tourists" were on his land today.
