Star Gazer

I don't think I had ever seen the milky way previous to living out in our current location. I still recall with surprise when I had asked someone about this massive area of shapes, color and stars that they told me it was the Milky Way. We are fortunate to now live out on the prairie in a rural area with limited light pollution.  One enjoyment is to just enjoy the night sky with all the stars, planets and the various shapes and sizes of the moon as easily as stepping out our door and looking up!

Here I show a rider coming toward his companions who are already enjoying the campfire. This rider familiar with the beauty around him takes a moment to look up and wonder at the night sky and its "heavenly bodies."
