Uncommon Beauty (Common Grackle)

We have had a flock of common grackles join the activity of the various other black birds feeding and singing in our yard of late. I was struck by the beauty of this "common" bird when the sunlight lit up it's dark feathers. An array of purples, blues, green, alizarin and bronze dazzles the eyes! UNcommon beauty is seen in the light.
